One Step Closer To Whole Foods

One of the body oils I'll be sending to Whole Foods

Whole Foods has accepted my company’s new vendor submission request for the Southern California District.  We sent the email submission November 1, 2010 and heard back from them yesterday December 28, 2010.  I am positively jubilant.  Whole Foods receives thousands of requests a day and only respond back to the ones they are interested in.  This is a huge achievement for Wild Beauty.  We’ve only been in business since September 2010.

Our next step is to fill out the forms and send samples according to the Category Review Schedule we were given.  They review products by categories every month.  The month of hand is lotions, body and hand creams etc.  I will submitting Lavender Vanilla Shea Butter hand cream and Green Tea and Cucumber Hand cream made with Kekuicha green tea from Japan.

For the month of March is massage oils, body oils and etc, I will submit samples of Lavender Vanilla, Chamomile Neroli and Herbal Garden Infused Body oils.  On the website they have a list of ingredients that they will not allow to be in any of the products to go on store shelves.  It’s very extensive.  None of my ingredients are on the list so that’s a plus.  I will keep everyone updated.  On the website they have a list of ingredients that they will not allow to be in any of the products to go on store shelves.

Then it’s the waiting game.  I believe Wild Beauty will pass their testing and by this summer our products will be in stores.
